Stony Point News achieves another milestone in creating the best program possible. For 93 years, Quill and Scroll International Honor Society for High School Journalists has been honoring the best work done by student journalists around the world. This week, Stony Point’s journalism team began a charter with Quill and Scroll. This opens up opportunities for contests and scholarships as well as honor cords for graduation. Students in yearbook, newspaper, broadcasting, UIL journalism, or members of the Tiger’s Tale staff are welcome to join our chapter of Quill and Scroll. We are very excited to begin this new adventure. The deadline for the first contest to submit photos, multimedia, and writing samples is February 5th.
