Touchstone welcomes Future Tigers

115 students from feeder elementary schools received Christmas presents, enjoyed activities

In anticipation of receiving a ton of future tigers on campus to celebrate an early Christmas, Touchstone staffers organized games, brought in food, wrapped presents, and decorated their newsroom. They were disappointed that they didn't have a bigger tree to decorate, but they were excited about the party.

“I hope we do this again next year! I love those little kids.”

One of the students who devoted her time to help set up was junior Nayeli Torres. "It feels good to be able to do something for these kids. I hope we do this again next year! I love those little kids," Torres said.

Feeling like Santa

Among the presents on the table, a new soccer ball, several action figures, new clothes and shoes, some books, presents for a younger sibling who couldn't attend, and a bike with a helmet. Everyone was happy to have a chance to give.
